In 2020, the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative celebrates its 5th anniversary, continuing to shine a light on the best of humanity and building a global movement of Gratitude in Action. Through its projects, the Initiative gives hope to those in need and empowers those who risk their life to save others. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Aurora remains more relevant than ever by spreading solidarity and continuing its global efforts to help the most vulnerable worldwide. Below are the thoughts of Ruben Vardanyan, Impact Investor and Social Entrepreneur and Co-Founder of the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative, on the most pressing humanitarian issues and Aurora’s mission.
“We are living in a very difficult time of economic, political, social situation. Only with a big hope and a big dream you can keep the nation looking forward. Armenia was a very important element of the world in different historical moments, and I believe we can become again very important for the world, creating this humanitarian movement, which will help us to get out of this hate and isolation and come back to the normal human behavior.”
