The 2016 Aurora Dialogues took place on April 23, 2016 in Matenadaran (The Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts), one of the world’s richest depositories of medieval manuscripts.
The event was opened by Aurora Humanitarian Initiative Co-Founder Ruben Vardanyan. The Dialogues brought together leading humanitarians, academics, philanthropists and media experts, and centered on the modern world’s most pressing humanitarian issues. The closing thoughts to the Aurora Dialogues were offered by Vartan Gregorian, Aurora Humanitarian Initiative Co-Founder and member of the Aurora Prize Selection Committee.
