"Vartan liked to remind us that generosity has no expiration date. I don't think there's a better way to put Aurora's vision into words. We're hopeful that those who share it will support the Vartan Gregorian Humanitarian Fund and help us make his legacy live on and be a guiding light for the world," said Noubar Afeyan.

"He always saw something. Even in the most difficult situation, he saw something that could be positive and could make you feel better about the day, to go about your day," said Anna Afeyan. 

During the 2022 Aurora Prize Ceremony, Noubar Afeyan, Co-Founder of the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative, and Anna Afeyan, Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the Afeyan Family Foundation, announced the establishment of the Vartan Gregorian Humanitarian Fund for Aurora.
