Margarita Mkhitaryan was born in 1915 in Kars. She escaped the massacres with her mother and brother in 1917-1918.
She can’t recall much about those days. She has spent the last years of her life in Yerevan, Armenia. Margarita has eight children. Now it is her daughter, Gayane, 61, and her daughter-in-law Lilya, 65, who care for her.
