Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Aurora remains more relevant than ever by spreading solidarity and continuing its global efforts to help the most vulnerable worldwide. Below are the thoughts of Bernard Kouchner, Co-Fօunder of Médecins Sans Frontières, Former Foreign Minister of France and the Aurora Prize Selection Committee Member, on the most pressing humanitarian issues and Aurora’s mission.

“Aurora Prize is a very serious démarche. It is a very serious study. It takes one year to separate or to make the choice, in fact, but to see, to consider, to understand, to listen to dozens and dozens of people. I have never seen, and I saw a lot of that human rights competitions, if I may say so, this is very, very clearly the most serious.”
