World famous peace and human rights activist Benjamin Ferencz has recently joined the Selection Committee of the Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity as its Honorary Co-Chair. The well-known Romanian-born American lawyer, who has been promoting the establishment of an international rule of law for many years, is now a global ambassador of the Aurora Prize.

“I have been invited by the Aurora Prize Selection Committee to comment briefly on any suggestions I might have on how we select a winner for that very generous Prize. There are so many people that I’ve encountered in my life that it's very difficult for me to do that. I am sure that all members of the Committee, of which I am now a part, will find a suitable candidate.”
