Aurora Humanitarian Initiative launches an international short film competition open to all film genres.
 
Join the global humanitarian movement by investing your talent, time and imagination in films that express the selection criteria of the Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity: courage, commitment and impact.
 
Regardless of geography, religion, ethnicity or race, selfless people around the world prove that human life is precious. Their courageous actions are saving thousands of lives. We expect the films to feature your ideas about humanism, hope, selflessness and a belief in a brighter future. 
 
General requirements:
 
Age: Up to 40 years' old
Length of the film: Up to 5 minutes
Genre: Documentary, fiction, animation (3D, 2D), other.
Deadline: March 20, 2017
Films must have been produced no earlier than January 1, 2016.
Films must be submitted via non-public web links on YouTube or Vimeo.

By the selection of professional jury Aurora Humanitarian Initiative will award US$4000 to the director of the best film. Second and third places will receive US$2000 and US$1500 award respectively. The directors of the five most inspiring films will have the opportunity to attend Aurora Prize Award Ceremony in Yerevan, Armenia, on May 28, 2017.
