On December 4 in Berlin the Aurora Prize Selection Committee reviewed all shortlisted nominations for the 2018 Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity. In its third year, the prize has received 750 submissions for 509 unique candidates from 115 countries.

The Co-founders of the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative updated the Selection Committee and partners on the recent activities of the initiative, upcoming events and future plans. The 2018 Aurora Prize finalists will be announced on April 24, 2018. The third annual Prize will be announced on June 10, 2018, at a ceremony in Armenia.
