Aurora Commemorates the Victims of the Armenian Genocide

On April 24, 2022, the Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day, representatives of the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative and Aurora supporters visited the Tsitsernakaberd memorial in Yerevan, Armenia, to take part in a flower-laying ceremony.

Arman Jilavian, CEO of the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative, and other attendees paid tribute to the memory of those who had perished more than 100 years ago in the Ottoman Empire and expressed gratitude to those who had helped the survivors escape. The Aurora Humanitarian Initiative was launched to commemorate the centennial of the Armenian Genocide. It was established on behalf of the survivors of the Genocide and in gratitude to their saviors, seeking to address on-the-ground humanitarian challenges around the world with the focus on helping the most destitute.
