Mégo Terzian

Dr. Mégo Terzian joined MSF in 1994 and was elected President of MSF France in June 2013. MSF provides medical assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from healthcare.

A French Lebanese national of Armenian origin, Dr. Mégo Terzian is a pediatrician. It was in 1994, while continuing his medical studies in Yerevan, that he got to know MSF as a translator. He joined MSF in 1999 as an expatriate doctor for a first mission in Sierra Leone, then in Afghanistan, Iran and the Democratic Republic of Congo. In 2003, he became an emergency coordinator for MSF projects in Liberia, Côte d’Ivoire, Niger, Pakistan, Central African Republic, Jordan, as well as other countries. From 2007 until being elected President, he served first as Deputy and then as Director of MSF’s Emergency Programming at MSF in France.

Dr. Mégo Terzian was a 2019 Aurora Forum Goodwill Ambassador and served as an Aurora Prize Expert Panel Member in 2016-2020.
